VigRX Plus is an attempt by Leading Edge Herbals to improve on an already successful male enhancement supplement – VigRX. Three new ingredients put the plus in VigRX Plus, which are said to make the product more effective in terms of potency and delivery of results.
Based on the official website, VigRX Plus can increase a man’s ability to maintain an erection, in addition to enhancing the length and quality of orgasms. A medical board of advisors (doctors/male enhancement experts) adds to the product’s credibility factor, certifying VigRX Plus’ effectiveness in directing more blood to the penis and improving overall sexual health.
Claims and Components
As mentioned, the manufacturers of VigRX Plus added three new ingredients to the mix – Bioperine, Damiana, and Tribulus terrestris. Derived from black pepper extract, Bioperine increases the absorption of nutrients in supplement form (i.e., making supplements work better and faster). Damiana, on the other hand, is a popular aphrodisiac, which is substantiated by several studies using animal testing; it has been used since the time of the Mayans for its ability to increase stamina and enhance orgasms. And finally, there’s Tribulus terrestris – a centuries-old treatment for erectile dysfunction. Tribulus has been shown to increase levels of testosterone, dihydrotestosterone, and dehydroepiandrosterone.
There is no doubt that VigRX Plus can provide (1) bigger, harder, longer lasting erections, (2) stamina and sex drive of a healthy teenager; and (3) orgasms so intense, you will be shocked… then thrilled as claimed by the manufacturers. However, we would have liked the formula to include other potent ingredients such as L-arginine and Yohimbe bark extract.

The Verdict
The original formula, which contained Epimedium or Horny goat weed, Ginkgo biloba, Asian red ginseng or Panax ginseng, Saw palmetto berry, Muira puama, Catuaba, and Hawthorn berry, worked well enough to deliver results. We’re not totally convinced the addition of three new ingredients merits the price hike, considering Bioperine has not been proven to do what it claims to do. Overall, a month’s supply of this product is a good enough starter pack for those who are just getting on the male enhancement bandwagon. There may be other products that are better than VigRX Plus but we’ll have to give it props for its high enough success rate.
